Webinar: The Path Towards Carbon Neutrality

This webinar, organised by the Campaign for Greener Arbitrations North America Committee (CGA-NA) and hosted by the New York International Arbitration Center (NYIAC), saw a panel of experts discuss the significant carbon footprint of the arbitration community, the ins and outs of the voluntary carbon market, with a particular focus on carbon offsetting, and explain how arbitrators, arbitral institutions, arbitration practitioners and other stakeholders of the arbitration community can reduce and meaningfully offset their carbon emissions.

Welcome remarks were delivered by Rekha Rangachari, Executive Director of NYIAC.

The program was co-moderated by Olivier André (Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer), Chair of CGA-NA, and Jessica Crow (Independent Arbitrator), Member of CGA-NA and President of Young Canadian Arbitration Practitioners (YCAP).
